The marketplace and your license

Product Characters connects creators and buyers of character rights. Your purchase covers the exact character snapshot, asset inventory, named licensee, rights option, and terms version shown at checkout. It does not grant access to the creator’s private repository or unrelated source materials.

Commercial use and adaptation

Commercial rights allow use of the included assets in your finished advertising, marketing, and media projects. Normal production edits such as cropping, resizing, and formatting are allowed. Character adaptations require Commercial + Remix or Full Rights. Commercial and Commercial + Remix require attribution as recorded in the offer.

Exclusive and Full Rights offers

Exclusive grants stop future platform sales of the exact character. Full Rights includes the creator’s owned, transferable rights and approved source materials specified in the package. Neither offer guarantees worldwide uniqueness, copyright eligibility, or trademark registration. Existing external licenses must be disclosed before sale.

Restrictions and collaboration

Honor the creator restrictions listed in your offer. Project collaborators may access the purchased materials to create work for the named licensee; this is not a transfer of the license. Standalone redistribution, resale of the character package, and sublicensing it as a competing asset are not permitted under the default marketplace offers.

Snapshots and prior grants

Creators may publish new approved snapshots and change future offers, but cannot rewrite completed purchases. Editing a copied PX manifest does not change legal rights. An exclusive lock remains in force across subsequent versions of the character.

Payments, delivery, and disputes

Payment and delivery are tracked separately. An unsuccessful import can be retried without another charge. Contact support with your purchase ID if delivery fails or an asset materially differs from the approved offer. Refunds and disputes are reviewed individually; downloaded files cannot be remotely erased.

Free previews and intellectual property

Free access provides evaluation previews and public summaries only, without commercial production rights. Creators must own or control the rights they offer, accurately describe their contributions, and avoid misrepresenting a third party’s likeness, voice, or intellectual property.

Your binding receipt

The specific versioned agreement presented at checkout controls your purchase. Keep the receipt in your library. If a live offer has no available license document, do not proceed with payment.
